A rant about stupid people

After a really fun evening of dancing at Red Rooster, we were walking back to my car around 3:00AM last night. It was parked in a giant parking lot across from the bars. We see a police officer drive around the lot and stop near a car that is parked near mine. A dude is huddled under a bush - he looks like a homeless man sleeping under a tree for warmth. Nope, he is just a college kid too drunk to move. As the police officer shines his light on this kid, we walk around the car to get out of the way. When we walk past the car, we notice the side door open and a guy helping who appears to be his girlfriend puke out the side. This could be a really funny story, but then we asked ourselves, who is driving those kids home? The DD was probably that kid in the bushes who was too drunk to stand up, let alone safely drive his friends home. I know everyone gets drunk every once in a while and makes really poor life decisions, but driving while intoxicated is just plain dangerous to yourself and everyone around you. It almost makes me not want to drive when we go out, just because I could be on the road next to someone who is drunk. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE - get your lives together.
