During my formal evaluation today, conducted by principal C, little Joshua threw a hissy fit, disrupted the entire class and interrupted me during my lesson multiple times. At one point, I was working with a student individually and heard the door slam. This is where I think to myself, "I should start looking for a new job." Then, I realize that not only is Dr. C gone, but also is Joshua. He was actually removed from my classroom during my formal evaluation AND a tornado watch and taken outside to be disciplined. I felt pretty awful at this point.
On the bright side, he did leave me a really nice note on my desk. I'll be sitting down with him on Friday. Tomorrow, Emmy from t-eff-a is evaluating me, as well as a professor from Vandy. Talk about some serious A-game this week.
